Sliders vs. Pink Cadillacs!

Oh heck yeah! We had our first tie last night! It was sooo close to a win! We were up by 4 for most of the game, but they had a come back towards the end of the game. Parri had a hat trick! And Nicole Godsey and I both scored a goal. I've been on a bit of a dry spell here for a while, so it's about time. Our team has improved so much in such a short time, I've been really impressed. We had a blast last night. Bo and John and Derek have been itching to play since we've started and finally put together a co-ed team last night. So, good luck to them! They'll be playing on Saturday nights. (they may be showing up to church a little sore on Sundays! :) ) Have a great weekend everyone!

Bridget's Family Bday Party

HaPpY BiRtHdAy bRiDgEt!!!!!

Here's our birthday girl!!! (Taken this morning) I can't believe she's 8 already! As is tradition, I made German pancakes for breakfast this morning. Getting ready to head to school with the cupcakes for Bridget's class---they are so cute, tinkerbell green frosting with a big tinkerbell purple "B" on them for "Bridget". Homemade frosting makes all the difference! I hope there's one left over! We are celebrating with the family tonight, so I imagine there'll be more pics of that to come....

First Day of School....kind of

Because of my Grandma's funeral yesterday, the girls missed the first day of school. So, this morning, for us, was "the first day of school". They are all excited for a new year and to see all of their friends everyday again. The house will be quiet for a few hrs. everyday again...

Girls before funeral...

Aren't they cute?? I got these dresses on sale, so you'll all be seeing them when Christmas cards come! :) The funeral and graveside services went really well yesterday. I want to thank everyone who was there to help and support our family, it was really touching.
